Day 293 - Patterns and Sewing Magazines

Today I donated some sewing patterns and magazines that I will never use. They have been occupying precious space in my closet and I want that space back. So off they go to somewhere and someone that will use them.

Quote for today: "Spring cleaning is all about personal satisfaction. It is the time of year that triggers homeowners to revive their home and renew their lives." Peter Walsh

... I would think this goes for any major seasonal cleaning. I find that doing this in the fall as the holidays approach works well.

Day 192 - More Notions

Still cleaning out my sewing corner today, I found I could get rid of more notions. Some of it will be donated; lots of tidbits of ribbons and lace, gathered ruffles, upholstery cord and piping. The rest of it is trash.

Day 191 - Fabric

Today I got rid of three pieces of fabric which I FreeCycled to a young lady who was looking for fabric for a project. I JUST happened to have some that was looking for a new home.

Day 190 - Sewing Notions

As they say "Use it or lose it!" Ribbons and lace, zippers, bias tape, and seam binding... I've got a boat load of notions! I haven't used any of these in many a moon. So I'm losin' it. It's going into my Salvation Army donation box today.

Day 189 - Thread

Cleaning out my sewing machine cabinet drawers today, I came across some thread that I don't need, and a little package of craft pom-poms. I gave it all to a young friend. It makes me happy knowing it will be used instead of sitting in a drawer.

Have fun with it, Megan! Make something cool. :)
